Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce 5 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics she took gold on both the team floor as well as the individual competitions. The bronze was won through her balance bar. She was the first Olympic gymnast with the most medals. Her gold medal during the Olympics in 2016 was the second consecutive gold medal for the American team. This made her, and fellow teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans to be able to complete this achievement. Also, she received silvers in individual all around and floor exercises. After the 2 Olympics she took a break from competitive gymnastics for three years. She was also a part of the gold-winning American teams at 2 World Championships. Aly began gymnastics lessons at the age of 2 and enjoys exercises on the floor. Aly participates in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in memory and honor of her mother. She hopes to become fashion-forward and increase the range of her Leotards and socks in near future. She is writing a book titled Fierce which will come out in the coming months.
